While many people think they don’t dream, we all dream about 4-5 times every night. The difference is whether or not we remember them. Ah yes, the Freudian slip... We've all had them, often times to our embarrassment! A definition I found quickly on DuckDuckGo reads "A Freudian slip, also called parapraxis, is an error in speech, memory, or physical action that is interpreted as occurring due to the interference of an unconscious subdued wish or internal train of thought."

What is a bookstore’s purpose, if not to awaken the heart and mind of people? Swami Kriyananda, who founded the original Ananda East West Bookshop in Menlo Park, gave us our motto (originally an ancient Greek aphorism) “Know Thyself” and used to tell our managers in the past, “Make sure it feelslike a bookstore!” I believe he was tuning into this same perspective: of the bookstore as a sanctuary for self-discovery.
