As far back as I can remember, I’ve known I am a healer. My mother told me over and over not to tell people about my gifts. People will think you are crazy and they will make fun of you, she said. She told me that showing what I can do is showing off and nobody likes a show off. By age 7 she had taught me how to not let myself feel physical pain.
Being empathic means you are naturally keyed into the human emotional sensations going on around you. But more than just hearing it, and understanding the language so to speak, you actually feel it in your own skin. You are like a walking radio receptor for emotional information. And once you pick up on it, your own station starts broadcasting it immediately. And pretty much, unless you have some training, you can’t help but do this.
The astrologer might show. through an energetic example, how the client might change in attitude, by a rearrangement of the patterns of thought, as the beginning of a way out/through the problem, besides more tangible ways to manage the outer presentation of the problem. In other words the client would engage in double duty: managing the physical problem with wisdom and practical skill, and managing and reorganizing his thoughts and mental movies about it.
